Alexis’ Seatbelt Abrasion
Patient Testimonial
Seat Belt Abrasion after roll-over vehicle accident
6 days later, following three laser treatments at C5 setting. 13 days post injury following 5 laser treatments
"I came to Mik after a car accident left me with not only neck and back pain, but a huge seat belt abrasion across my chest. Not only was it ugly and embarrassing, it was so painful I could not even put a bandage on it."
"Right away Mik suggested laser treatment. I was willing to do anything to help it heal faster. Three days after the first treatment my wound was a quarter of the size it had been, and the pain was minimal."
"One week later, after two more treatments, my abrasion was almost completely gone with no pain. I am very satisfied with the successful (and amazing) results of the laser treatments. Thank you, Mik"
Alexis Farrington
Alexis, Female, Age 19, presented with moderately-severe seat-belt abrasion over the anterior chest wall.

Regained Freedom
Patient Testimonial
"I have had low back pain for the last 20-25 years. The pain has gotten progressively worse for the last 10-15 years. The pain gets so bad that I have to take time off of work for 3-4 wks, several times per year for the last few years.
My chiropractor referred me to Dr. Logan for laser treatment a few months ago and I can't believe how much better I'm feeling. I had forgotten how many things I had given up doing due to the pain in my lower back. I am extremely happy with the results I've gotten with the laser and so grateful for the freedom I've regained in my life.
Thank you Dr. Logan and to the wonderful staff at Stanislaus Chiropractic Center."

A Healed Heel
Patient Testimonial
I've had heel pain for the past few years and was at my wit's end. I could barely walk by last September.
I had tried cortisone shots. They were very painful and only worked one time and that only lasted a couple of months. I tried some custom made shoes that were over $150.00/pair and when they didn't help much tried another pair that were over $200.00/pair that seemed to help a little bit for a little while. I could only walk for about 30-60 minutes in my special shoes before I had to sit down and rest.
I saw an advertisement in the newspaper for your laser therapy and decided to give it a try. I had my first treatment on October 12, 2007. I had immediate relief. I received 4 more treatments over the next two weeks and have been pain-free ever since. I am so glad I tried the laser. Now I can wear the shoes I want, when I want, without any pain.
Sincerely,

Laser Light Explained
It is often asked how does laser actually work? The short answer is that the infrared light is pushed into the tissues where our cells convert the light to cellular energy.
The longer version has to do with a 25 cent word called "photobiostimulation." This is the term used for how infrared light interacts with our cells. When small packets of light, called photons, strike the cell membranes, many of the cells activities are enhanced, including but not limited to reduction in pain, increased collagen production, increased ATP production and increased lymphatic drainage.

10-years of Pain Relieved
Patient Testimonial
Before using the K-laser, I had been to almost every treatment out there. Nothing seemed to help for more than 2-3 days, if at all.
I have been suffering with lower back pain for the past 20 years. I have been seeing Dr. Logan and his Dad for the last few years, but still only got relief for a month or two at the most.
But since I began getting lasered, on Dr. Logan's recommendation, I have regained all the feeling in my left leg, that had been gone since 1997. I have also been able to stop taking all the medications the M.D. had prescribed to try and help me. I'm feeling better than I have in over 10 years. I think the K-laser is the best treatment available.
Sincerely,
Charles Bishop, truck driver

Plantar Fasciitis
Patient Testimony -- Laser Pain relief
Mr. Clark had plantar fasciitis for years when Dr. Hall recommended some special shoes with built-in orthotics to support the longitudinal arch of his feet. This occurred about 3-years-ago.
When Dr. Hall got the laser, Mr. Clark was still having bouts of plantar fasciitis, so he decided to try some laser treatments. He received his 1st treatment in May of 2006 and two more in June. He was pain free for the next 16-months.
He had another mild flare-up in the fall of 2007. He was lasered three more times over a period of three-weeks and has not had any symptoms of plantar fasciitis since. He considers it a miracle, since his medical doctors had stated that there was nothing else that could be done, and he didn't want to be taking pain medications and anti-inflammatory drugs for the rest of his life.

Legg-Calve-Perthes' Disease
Laser Treatment provides relief for 3-year-old suffering from Legg-Calve-Perthes' Disease
Three-year-old Connor had been having pain intermittently in his left knee and thigh but it had been attributed to "growing pains."
Then in December 2007, he was playing with his cousin, and fell down. He had immediate pain though no deformity of the left leg. X-rays of the knee and thigh were read negative for acute injury. He crawled around the house for the next two days, and was unable to walk, hop, or even stand on his left leg.
His parents consulted their primary care doctor who sent Connor out for hip x-rays. The films showed that he had Legg-Calve-Perthes' Disease of the left femur. This is a problem seen in 4-8 year old boys generally, and is best described as a lack of blood flow to the head of the femur, that results in the bone dying, causing pain and dysfunction.
Connor's mom brought him in to get checked out chiropractically and for possible laser therapy. Connor had moderate to severe leg pain and could not walk when he came in on January 18th, 2008. His C1 (cervical) vertebra (atlas) was out of spinal alignment, he received an adjustment and laser therapy to his left hip and thigh. He received two more treatments of laser and one atlas adjustment over the next 5-days and was 100% improved symptomatically.
He has continued to be checked and continues to hold his atlas adjustment and gets occasional laser treatment as needed. He has returned to normal 3-year-old toddler activities and is currently pain free between visits. Follow-up x-rays are scheduled in 6-months.
