I met with my accountant last week and the numbers were outstanding. My practice was up 56% since installing the lasers six months ago. I have rebuilt my office to include three laser treatment rooms. We have two certified laser technicians and have hired a chiropractic physician as our full time laser officer. My initial exposure to this modality was when Dr. True treated my wife's persistent left shoulder bursitis/tendonitis of 3 months duration. When I treat one family member they send in the rest. A radiologist that I treated sent in his wife, flew his father-in-law down from Philadelphia... She continued to aggravate it through phone use and filing overhead despite our best rehab efforts. In one treatment she went from 120 degrees abduction with pain to full pain free ROM. It seemed physiologically impossible to achieve such a marked response with one treatment. My wife was then able to perform her exercises and progressed quickly with no reoccurrence one year later. My own mother had a failed total knee replacement due to a nosocomial infection. Months of IV antibiotics failed to clear the infection, so the implant was removed and replaced with a new medication impregnated temporary implant. She was switched to IV Vancomycin because of kidney and liver complications secondary to the first antibiotic. The final TKR could not be performed because of continued infection and significant edema. I treated mom four consecutive days with edema and pain settings. The swelling decreased 80% and a visit to her infectious disease specialist the following day resulted in discontinuing the IV and scheduling her final surgery 6 days later. She was home 3 days after the surgery. Today she is climbing steps in her house again and will start traveling next month. K-Laser gave my mother her life back.
